Jeevdhan Fort Trek_Nov 2022

 Jeevdhan fort 

The fort base is about 130km and 3.30hrs journey time from Pune. 

What to see on the fort- Maha-Darwaja, Grain storage, Jivaidevi, Junnar Darwaja, Vanarlingi Pinnacle

We stayed here. Stay and food is good with affordable rates. 


Take right side pinnacle which is called 'Wanarlingi'. Follow the pinnacle. 




After 30 mins you will reach in the jungle patch
take left side in the junlge for the fort entrance. The right route goes to pinnacle. 


It took one hour to reach here. 




Naneghat can be seen through entrance 

The steps are beautifully carved 


One patch is a little tricky. A rope is there to take support to ascend. 



There are tanks at the top. We took 90 mins to reach on the top. 




The very famous grain storage here. It also said that the place was also used to store the toll money which was used to collect from Nane-ghat. Carry a torch to see inside.

We started at 5.00 am form Pune and reached at 8.30am at the base. 
Trek started at 9.30am and reached at the parking about 5.30pm

How to Reach : It is about 40 km from Pune. See the map given below to understand the location.

On the Way from Khadakwasla -Khadakwadi - Jambhali -Kuran 

Parking at the Madhali Ali village
Ask about the route in the villagers 
It will take one hour to reach on the top



The first phase through the jungle would be very confusing. There is the possibility to get lost. Please see the trail carefully.

The initial hike is tiring.
