Takve Khurd Natural Caves

We the Trekking Paltan explored the cave on 2nd April 2023

Takve Khurd cave is a natural cave with a be-like structure. We were able to reach 200 feet inside, next it was narrower and difficult to proceed.
The Takve Khurd village is about 60 km from Pune on the old Mumbai highway just before Karla Lonavla. It is just a 5-minute drive from the highway. The place is visible on the Google map. Search Takave Deep cave on the map. There are more caves here across the hill. Reach to the Grampanchayat and park the vehicle and start ascending from here itself. It will take 20 mins to reach the caves. The Caves are hidden behind the trees. Carry a Torch or headlight to see deeper into the caves. Bats, snakes, insects, and bacteria can be found there in the cave. There is a bad smell in the tube.
Food and water are there in the village and even on the highway which is just 5 mins drive.

After 20 mins simple hike, the cave is found behind the trees.
