Kondeshwar Waterfalls Sept_2019


Kondeshwar is Lord Shiva Temple. It is situated on the edge of Sahyadri. Hindu pilgrims are regular visitors of the temple. The temple surrounded by many waterfalls in rainy season.  
How to Reach: About 70 km. from Pune. Pune-Talegaon-Vadgaon Maval-Kamshet-enter in Kamshet town, ask road to Jambhavali village- 19 km (40 Mins)- beautiful road alongwith Uksan dam on right side-Jambhvali village- rough road to parking of Kondeshwar temple. There is nominal toll of the village, pay by cash and procced.

Parking: Parking place very near to the Kondeshwar temple for about 20 cars and bikes.

There is snacks and water available near Kondeshwar Temple on weekends and special religious festivals. 

What to See: Temple is historic temple of Lord Shiva called Kondeshwar. It is well maintained and clean temple. There is care taker in the temple. The temple is surrounded by many waterfalls in monsoon season. There is a route of Dhak Bahiri trek behind the temple. Local guide are available in the village Jambhavali. 

Precaution: This is religious place, so maintain the purity and holiness of the place. Respect the faith the belief of the people. 
There are many waterfalls around the temple which are very risky. There is always possibility to change sudden change in water level. So when crossing the streams in the rainy season take advice of the local people.
